Born with a hammer in his hand…
Jon Stein grew up in Sonoma County, California following his father around construction sites. He was taught the art of carpentry from a young age and by 16 he built (and lived in) his first tiny home. While going to college and exploring various career paths, he was consistently building, designing, and fixing things on the side.
In his late 20s, he finally surrendered to his true calling as a builder and carpenter and has been at it ever since. In addition, he expanded his services to include landscaping, which incorporates his love of nature.
After losing two homes (in the past 6 years) to the California wildfires, Jon Stein holds the value of HOME in his heart now more than ever. He believes that home is your sanctuary and should be created as such.
Jon Stein currently divides his time between Nevada County, California (with his fiancée’) and the Bay Area (where his children live). He enjoys taking jobs throughout Northern California so feel free to ask!
